Mansa is a rich fruity-woody Extrait built around dark berries, saffron, rose and oud. Blackberry and blackcurrant give the opening a juicy but shadowy fruit character, while pink pepper and orris add spice and softness. Oud, rose, saffron and amber create a dense, luxurious heart before patchouli, heliotrope, moss and musk form a smooth, earthy and slightly leathery drydown. 

The overall profile is dark, fruity, spicy and woody, with enough rose and oud to give it depth without turning it into a conventional heavy rose-oud scent. Pernoire positions Mansa around themes of wealth and generosity, inspired by Mansa Musa.
