Gentleman Réserve Privée is a warm, boozy and sophisticated fragrance built around whisky, iris and rich amber woods. Bergamot adds brightness to the opening before smooth whisky absolute introduces its signature boozy character. Chestnut and orris create a creamy, slightly powdery heart, while benzoin adds warmth and sweetness.

Cedarwood, vetiver and patchouli form a rich woody drydown that gives the fragrance depth without becoming overly heavy. Givenchy classifies it as woody, floral and ambery, with the whisky-and-iris contrast forming the core of the scent. 

The overall profile is boozy, warm, creamy, woody and slightly powdery.
